brush your hair with a toothbrush




This evening, accompanied by Davyd and Dr Z, I found myself in a crowd of people wearing hats made out of newspaper and clinging to toffee apples, moshing to songs like 'Newspaper Mama,' 'Mr Clickety Clang' and 'Toffee Apple.' People clapped and cheered and sang for so long, and so loud, that by the end of it my ears were ringing.

And it was awesome.

That is blatantly awesome... But I thought the Peter Combe concert was tomorrow? Er... today. (28th)

He was at the Fly by Night on the 27th, and at the Amplifier Bar on the 28th.

it was pretty fun. aside from the tool in front of me, who kept dropping his beer glasses on the floor and then dancing on, like he wasn't CRUSHING GLASS.

HA. I love the expression on his face, it's all 'I am surrounded by screaming twenty-somethings and I'm not sure how I feel about that, but WHATEVER, twang twang twang'.

He spent most of the concert looking like that, super confused. He made a lot of jokes about how we were much taller and much better singers than the last time he saw us.

It was still really cool.

heheh I heard him talking about it on Triple J and he sang a couple of songs. Thank good he didn't sing Newspaper Mama. I hate that one ;p
